Day 26 Indianapolis, Indiana to Cloverdale, Indiana 86km

We awoke to a thunderstorm this morning and we were hit by some heavy rain just after we set off. We got shelter on the porch of an abandoned house in Indianapolis. We spent the morning cycling through the city. Cycling through the big cities can be stressful at times and we were glad to get back to the countryside.

We stopped at Gear Up Cyclery in Plainfield to buy a new tyre for Brian's bike. There was a few holes appearing in the old one. They treated us like celebrities and insisted on taking a picture of us for their website. We had to deal with a strong south westerly wind and some gravel roads, which are very tiring, hence the short distance today.
