Day 3 Sebago Lake, Maine to Conway, New Hampshire 80km

Today was warm with temperatures in the mid to high 20s but a stiff breeze meant that it was quiet pleasant. Unfortunately that breeze was in our face for most of the day. We cycled along the shores of Sebago Lake which was beautiful and stopped in the lakeside town of Naples for a break and enjoyed the view over Long Lake. We stopped for lunch in a restaurant just outside of Bridgton and struck up conversation with another local which is becoming a common theme. As he was leaving and after discussing our trip he left 30 dollars on the table and said lunch was on him. We were gobsmacked. The generosity and friendliness of people here is great.

We finished the day in Conway in the Eastern Slope Camping Area. It's quiet here and we have a huge camping area to ourselves. Tomorrow we are entering the White Mountains and the Kancamagus pass which is 2,800 feet high so it will be a tough day.
