It was already 20c by 8am this morning and would reach 32c during the day. It was hot. We did quiet a bit of climbing early in the day but once we left the White Mountains we spent most of the day cycling through rural farmland. The heat was getting the better of me so we stopped early at around 4.30pm. We are now watching some World Cup which, surprisingly, we have got to see quiet a bit of. There was even a bit of an atmosphere last night for the US game.
